Re: [haflingerfriends] Now here is a question

I'm not a trainer so I would not buy either one. And I would not buy either for my kid, not enough training. 2 months isn't enough either. After 1 month of training my daughter's 3 yr old could wear a saddle, be mounted, walk quietly and only bucked occasionally. Granted she's a different breed but that's what 1 month got.

I really don't want this to blow up into another flame war, and Emily if you are concerned about the topic please don't post it, but this to me is a very real dilema, and has me thinking.

I was truly shocked at the weekend to see not one but two Haflingers advertised for sale within driving of us, I've never seen haflingers adverstised up here before, and now here are two, but which one is going to sell do you think?

They are both up for sale at the same price..

Horse A,

6 year old mare, 13 hh and very Haflinger shaped, but very very pale, and blue eyed, no papers I would think. She is being sold at the end of two months training and there is a whole description of what she can do, in fact easiest just to link to her ad

Horse B,

5 year old mare, halter broke, can groom her, has been on a trailer...once, easy to catch, in a confined area, but she is registered.

What do you think, who will sell, who is worth the money?
