[haflingerfriends] Re: HAFLINGER HORSE NORTH CAROLINA INSPECTION March 14th clinic

Hi Julie, I recieved the email from Don Jackson. I am not sure if I am going to take Allie or not. We do not breed or show, only pleasure drive so I do not know if the classification would be worth it for us. With this economy it would be hard to justify the expense. Allie's dam, Annie Laurie, is silver classified. She is on the 2010 Haflinger calendar for the month of February. I am thinking about just driving to the clinic at the Derrer's farm just to see what they do at the clinics. Also I have been to the Derrer's farm one time before and a chance to see his Haflingers again would be worth it.

I was a member of the Southeastern Haflingers Association for two years before it ended. I think it ended mainly because lack of members and member participation. Before it ended I was getting "group" emails requesting we put the word out to anyone who might be interested in joining. I live in the Moore County area of NC. Let me know if you decide to go forward with this.

Thanks,
Linda in NC

The Derrer family would like to get a firm # on how many people and horses will be visiting their farm. So even if you have talked to me already please email with the # in your party and how many horses if you plan to attend. Do not be discouraged by foul weather as we have an indoor arena available just up the road if we need it. We will send you some directions in the next few days. Please call or email if you have any questions.
