The perfect horse should walk, trot, and canter nicely for a small child rider without putting up any fuss, and is not spooky or "spirited" on the trail. Some jumping experience would be nice, but is not necessary. I can teach the horse to jump. (it will be a while before she's ready for jumping anyway ;-)
We're located in Central Arkansas, but will ship the right horse. If you have a horse that would work for us, please email me information, photos, video(s) (if you have one), price, and location. I'm definitely open to any breed of horse, so if you have a non-Haflinger, send it my way as well ;-).
