Subject: [haflingerfriends] A very sad day on the prairies
Today is a sad day here, we had to make that most difficult decision that
faces a horse owner, and Raven was laid to rest today.
She had a stroke earlier in the week, and though for a couple of days I
thought we were getting her back, last night I just knew that she was ready.
This morning her breakfast was heavily dressed with molasses, I'm sure that
God will forgive a new arrival with a black moustache and a sugar rush going
on. She hasn't been allowed sugar for a while, and she really enjoyed it.
