Just want to say a big thank you to each everyone for your kind thoughts, it is here on this board that people truly understand how special these little Golden Horses are, and I love the thought of them as Golden Stars, and also I see them in the golden rays of sunshine.
Sue, it was those expressive eyes that helped me make the hard decision, through all her trials and tribulations she kept that calm almost resigned look on life, sometimes seeming sad, sometimes just at peace. On Friday night she had become distant, and those beautiful eyes had started to dull.
I believe that most things in life happen for a reason, so Raven was sent to me, I believe that I have learned a lot, not only from her, but from the wonderful people who contacted me when she came and have contacted me since and kept up with her story.
I was fortunate in being allowed to look after her, and I'm sad at her passing, but today I'm at peace with the decision that we made.
Thanks again for the support here and the beautiful pm's, and maybe we should all remember that whatever shape our Haflingers are, Modern or Drafty, each and every one is special to someone :)
