Thanks Alana.... I sort of had that description in my head, but wasn't
sure.... I know what you mean about halters and bridles... I often have
trouble there... especially with brow bands... often they are too short..

Cob is a body style of horse. Basically it fills in the size catagory
between pony and full size horse.

Cobs can be shorter than a full size horse but due to a heavier build
than that of a pony can thefore weigh closer to that of a full size
horse.

Haflingers are often in the cob size group for buying halter etc.
Although my mare still often needs a full size bridle and a cob halter
depending on cut.
