Welcome! I'm glad to hear that you are now owned by a Golden Girl. They
are amazing, amazing horses! Enjoy getting to know each other, once they
bond with you they are there for you always.
This group is just wonderful, the knowledge on here is so vast so I'm sure
they can help you along the way - they certainly have helped me out several

Subject: [haflingerfriends] New to group/Haflingers/Ohio
Hi, just wanted to introduce myself my name is Susan. I live in NE Ohio, I
just brought my first Haflinger home today. Had a TWH who'd turn into
spookazoid going out alone. Last episode was just to dangerous, hubby
insisted I sell when I came in white as a ghost from what had happened. It
was bad enough that I didn't argue with him.
I have a few friends with Haflingers, so included one out on my new horse
search. Love at first sight!!! Her name is Camryn, she'll turn 8 yrs old,
this week. She's not been ridden regularly in three years but, on the test
ride she proved to be quite level headed and sane despite her sister yelling
for her from the barn. I'm sure I'll have tons of questions as Camryn and I
get to know each other. Looking forward to learning more here, as well as
playing with my girl. Well, time to go to the barn and do another Camryn
check :)Susan O.
