[haflingerfriends] T/H brand on shoulder

Over the summer I bought a 7 yo (approx) Haflinger mare with the T/H brand on her shoulder. She was sold to me as unregistered because the owner didn't have her papers and didn't seem to have much information on her background. She said she bought her and a few Haflingers from someone in Illinois a couple years back. Her story was just a little weird.

Is there anyway to find out who my mystery mare is? Are they microchipped as foals? If so, which type of chip?

I love my mare and she's turned out to be a blast. I posted a few pics of her at her first show in the photos section (Nellie).
