You sure wouldn't want to be here in cali now, everything is floating away with this 8 inches of rain we have gotten this week AND it is still pouring as of now. crazy!
As for the pregnant story, yeah that was funny. Michelle was SOOO ready for sammy to be born, and her being tall and Rosie being only 13hh all she had to do was barely pick up her leg to get on her, yet she doesn't look like her legs are that far down. She rode her around the pasture for about 20 minutes or so, was SOO funny...
An even funnier story with Michelle and Rosie...we were riding on the north side of Morro Rock on the beach where it is really a lot flatter and perfect running sand. Michelle was riding her new mare and I was riding Rosie. She said I just had to ride her new mare to feel what her lope felt like, she couldn't explain it. so we switched horses. of course niether one of us changed stirrups on our saddles, so mine I couldn't reach in her saddle as I am only 5'2 and she is 6', and she looked like a jocky. lol. Well...she let loose Rosie's reins so we could lope and I could feel her new mares lope, I almost fell off LAUGHING!! THe mare I was riding was 15.2hh and COULD NOT CATCH UP TO ROSIE! carrying michelle at a full run with her knees to her face in my shorter stirrups, OMG it was the funniest thing I have ever seen and Rosie is such a trooper...didn't even faze her. I think michelle was about 240 at the time. Just picture that one...funniest part is michelles mare wasn't fast enough to catch Rosie. SHe is a fast little haflinger.
Jennifer in SOAKING california
