[haflingerfriends] Re: Haflinger Names

Hi Marilyn,

The initials following the horses name are the registered farm suffix, from where the foal was born. You can look them up here:
http://www.haflingerhorse.com/documents/AHR_Suffix_List.pdf
Often times it will be initials of the farm.
My mare is Nightingale BCH. BCH stands for BriarCroft Haflingers owned by Dan and Emily Gibson of Everson, Washington.
