[haflingerfriends] Re: Fw: Hay

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Sudan hay. This supplier has a really clean load and I'd never even seen Sudan grass before. I'm not sure where it was grown. Or about the time. I'm hoping to find more Timothy as nice as what I have. That's why I'm out looking now. Unfortunately, Scharly will eat Straw too, so she'll eat just about everything. I'm going to have her blood tested again this spring to see if she's still allergic to the other hays as she tested last summer.
She loves the herb mixture that I've put together. I've been able to drop a couple of the herbs I had at the begining and have added kelp, dandelion leaves and dandelion root.
I appreciate everyones sharing of their hay type experiences.
