[haflingerfriends] Re: Fw: Hay

Thanks Cheryl for replying. I have only had one batch of hay analysized, but that's because I bought 64 bales and figured it would last most of the year. I'm going through the Timothy faster than the orchard grass (it's lighter). I need to print out some of the information I got on the Teff hay. (I probably would never have had my hay analaysized had Scharly not gotten so ill this last July.) I was reading some of the information written by folks that actually raise the Teff and alot depends on where it is grown to the sugar content. Appears Alpca breeders are using it also. Could you send me directly the name of the grower? I'm really curious if the grower is having any analysis done on it.
Thanks again. And anyone else out there, feel free to jump in. I'm still wondering about the rye and the sudan grass hay.
