[haflingerfriends] Re: Denny - so sorry.

Hi, thanks for the hugs, I needed them over the last few days, suffered from a delayed reaction here I think.

Yup, the BOSS seeds are the same ones as you feed to birds, just need to make sure that they aren't dressed with anything, I believe some are vitamin enriched, you don't need those.

I'm a total convert, and agree totally with the start with a 1/4 cup advice, and build up, I love the fact that you can increase their oil content without actaully having an oily residue on everything.

Most of mine just get a cupful to keep their coats in good condition, but both Raven and Alto were on more to try and build weight as well. I hadn't been feeding it through the summer, but when I started it again Raven was doing really well, for the first time she actually filled in along her top line.
