[haflingerfriends] Foaling time

Well, I have made the best preparation's I can, thanks for all the advice, on bedding and heat sources. Now I am just down to wait and worry. As it has been said, "I know nothing about birthing no babies Miss Scarlett". Ha! I am going to need a "M" name maybe Miss Scarlett? Anyway I have been reading up and have the vet on the ready if needed, what are some useful tips? And can anyone tell me how a foaling alarm works? My girls lay down a lot will I be running out there all night? And can I wrap their tails in advance?
